Vietjet to launch five new routes in fourth quarter of the year

Vietjet is adding three routes to the Philippines, one route to Thailand and one route to Japan from various cities in Vietnam between October and December this year. Read More » The LCC is returning to the Ho Chi Minh-Chiang Mai route with four flights a week starting on October 25. In November, Vietjet will commence three nonstop flights a week from Cebu to both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as on the Clark-Ho Chi Minh City route. "Together with its existing Ho Chi Minh City–Manila service, the new routes will give travelers more options for leisure and business travel and visits to family and friends, while supporting stronger tourism and trade ties between Vietnam and the Philippines," Vietjet said. To close out the year, the airline is linking Da Nang with Osaka Kansai with four flights a week from December 20. "The new service will further expand Vietjet’s Japan network, which currently connects Hanoi with Tokyo (Narita), Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Hiroshima and Shizuoka, and Ho Chi Minh City with Tokyo (Narita, Haneda) and Osaka," Vietjet said.
