Scoot adds Guiyang to its China network, plans end-of-year capacity boost across Asia-Pacific

Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), said that on October 26, 2026, it will launch flights on the Singapore-Guiyang route, operated three times per week with Airbus A320neo aircraft. Read More » With the launch of services to Guiyang, Scoot will operate 81 weekly flights to 16 cities in mainland China. Scoot’s network will increase to 86 destinations across 18 countries and territories across the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Europe.

In addition to the new destination, Scoot will boost capacity across the Asia-Pacific region to meet anticipated increases in air travel demand during the year-end holiday season. The frequency updates form part of Scoot’s Northern Winter 2026/2027 schedule, which runs from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027.

“We are delighted to add Guiyang to our network, strengthening our presence in China and connecting Singapore and the wider Scoot network to one of southwest China’s most scenic and culturally rich cities. Alongside this new route, we are also increasing flight frequencies to several popular destinations to meet the anticipated increase in travel demand during the year-end period. These network updates reflect our commitment to offering customers more choice, better connectivity and great value when they fly with Scoot,” Leslie Thng, CEO of Scoot, said.
