Air China and Royal Jordanian Airlines to explore codesharing, new routes, as part of MOU

Air China and Royal Jordanian Airlines have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore ways of working more closely together and expand flights between Mainland China and Jordan. Read More » Areas of cooperation included codeshare and interline opportunities, product and service training, ground handling, air cargo and in-flight catering. "Beijing represents a key gateway to China and the wider Asian markets, while Amman serves as a major hub for the Levant," Royal Jordanian CEO, Samer Majali, said. "By strengthening our commercial cooperation and exploring future codeshare opportunities, we aim to expand Royal Jordanian’s network reach, provide passengers with more seamless connections, and support the success of the planned direct service between the capitals of two countries." There are currently no nonstop flights between Mainland China and Jordan. President of Air China and China National Aviation Holding Corporation, Qu Guangji, said Air China was providing its full support to Royal Jordanian launching nonstop flights between Amman and Beijing.
