Fiji Airways to serve Western Sydney International

Fiji Airways will begin flying to Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) from its Nadi hub starting March 19 next year. Read More » The oneworld alliance member has scheduled three flights a week to WSI with 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The flights have been timed as an evening departure from Nadi and an overnight service from WSI. Fiji Airways currently flies twice daily between Nadi and Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport. "Australia is our largest source market, and this new direct service further strengthens connectivity, creating new opportunities for tourism, trade and business travel while making Fiji more accessible than ever," Fiji Airways CEO, Paul Scurrah, said. WSI CEO, Simon Hickey, said: "Western Sydney is one of the most diverse and rapidly growing regions in the nation, which includes more than 70% of our global city’s Fijian population."
