Qatar Airways updates network schedule with more flights to Asia-Pacific

Qatar Airways has added more flights to Thailand, Vietnam, the Maldives and elsewhere in the Asia-Pacific for the upcoming northern hemisphere winter scheduling season between October and March next year in response to strong demand. Read More » Schedule updates include commencing a third daily Doha-Phuket rotation from October 25 and growing its Doha-Malé schedule from 12 to 21 flights a week. For Vietnam, the oneworld alliance member will have 11 flights a week to Ho Chi Minh City from November 7, compared with seven flights a week currently. The flights are in addition to the previously announced resumption of Doha-Melbourne-Canberra services from December 9. "Asia Pacific continues to be a key region in Qatar Airways’ network, with multiple frequency increases and route resumptions planned throughout the winter season," Qatar Airways said. "The winter schedule will see Qatar Airways operate more than 186 weekly flights across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East.
