Japan Airlines boosts cargo schedule as freighter returns from maintenance

Read More » The six times weekly Narita-Hong Kong freighter flights, operated by 767-300BCF aircraft, was suspended in June, with JAL maintaining cargo capacity to Hong Kong through a substitute codeshare flight operated by Kalitta Air. JAL has also returned some cargo services from Narita to Tianjin and Taipei Taoyuan which were cut due to the aircraft maintenance requirements. Tianjin increases to eight times weekly, from five currently, while Taipei gets two more flights a week for a total of four services a week. The airline is also increasing freighter capacity to Chicago by adding a third weekly 747 freighter service to the city as part of its charter agreement with Western Global Airlines.
