Air China and Turkish Airlines add more codeshare routes

Air China and Turkish Airlines have expanded their codeshare agreement to include all nonstop routes between Mainland China and Türkiye, as well as routes beyond their Beijing and Istanbul hubs. Read More » As part of the deepening partnership, Air China will add its CA airline code on Turkish Airlines-operated flights from Istanbul to Ankara in Türkiye, as well as Accra, Algiers, Dar es Salaam, Lagos, Marrakesh and Tunis in Africa, and Cancun and Mexico City in Latin America. Similarly, Turkish Airlines will add its TK airline code on Air China-operated flights from Beijing to Chongqing, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Qingdao, Shenzhen and Xiamen. The two Star Alliance members have been codeshare partners since 2024. "The expanded partnership offers guests of both airlines greater choice and more seamless connections when planning their journeys between China, Türkiye and beyond," the two airlines said. "Looking ahead, Turkish Airlines and Air China plan to extend their codeshare cooperation further to newly launched direct routes between Türkiye and China, continuing to build on this strategic partnership and support closer trade, tourism and cultural ties between the two countries."
