Vietjet chooses Starlink for inflight internet

Read More » The LCC said it planned to install Starlink on 120 aircraft, of which 20 were A330s and the remainder a mix of A321s and 737s. All future aircraft deliveries were expected to join the fleet with Starlink already installed. "With Starlink, time in the air no longer has to mean time offline," Vietjet chair, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, said. "Vietjet passengers will be able to stay connected throughout their journey - whether working, staying entertained, or keeping in touch with family and friends. This reflects Vietjet’s longstanding commitment to innovation and our ambition to bring leading technologies closer to more people." Vietjet said internet services would be free for all passengers.
