Read More » Prague serves as a gateway to Dresden, Germany, where Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) is building a chip fabrication plant, while Phoenix is home to TSMC’s manufacturing complex in Arizona, Taiwan’s Central News Agency (CNA) reported. STARLUX has increased its Taipei-Prague service from three to four weekly flights and Taipei-Phoenix and Taipei-Ontario flights from four to five per week. The airline is also studying new U.S. destinations, including Dallas, Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C., while increasing capacity in Southeast Asia, Liang said.
The airline expects its fleet to reach 42 aircraft by the end of 2026 and 48 by the end of 2027, enabling further network growth. With the expanded fleet, STARLUX expects revenue to grow by more than 40% in 2027, noting that volatile fuel prices remain the biggest operational uncertainty for now.
