Read More » “Our partnership with Air China is an important step in strengthening our route network and expanding our network of partner airlines. China is one of the world’s most important aviation markets. This agreement lets us offer our customers better connections to many destinations there, while giving Air China’s passengers easier access to Iceland,” Bogi Nils Bogason, Icelandair President and CEO, said. “The Beijing–Reykjavik route, launched by Air China as a scheduled service, is not only China’s first, but also currently the only scheduled passenger route connecting East Asia and Southeast Asia directly with Iceland. The codeshare cooperation between Air China and Icelandair will provide passengers of both countries with more convenient travel options, further enhancing the connectivity between the two countries’ aviation networks,” Qu Guangji, President of China National Aviation Holding Corporation and Air China, commented.
