SIA Engineering Company posted a profit of S$81.9 million (US$64 million) for the first half of fiscal year 2026-27. Group revenue for the first half of FY2026-27 fell 9.7% year-on-year to $658.6 million due to lower revenue from materials, with a commensurate reduction in material costs.

AerFin has signed an agreement to acquire 44 Boeing 737 Next Generation aircraft and their 88 CFM56-7B engines from Qantas. AerFin will receive the aircraft over a seven-year period, with the first deliveries scheduled for 2026. The phased arrangement will allow Qantas to progressively retire aircraft as it introduces new-generation replacements into its domestic fleet.

Avolon has agreed to establish Constellation Aviation, a new aircraft leasing investment platform formed in partnership with I Squared Capital and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). After the transaction closes, Constellation is expected to acquire an initial portfolio of 22 aircraft from Avolon with a current market value of approximately $1.4 billion. The portfolio has an average aircraft age of five years and is leased to 17 airlines across 15 countries.
