Etihad Aviation Group names new CFO

Abu Dhabi's Etihad Aviation Group has named Mark Powers as its new CFO, succeeding James Rigney, who stepped down during last year's major management reshuffle. Read More »
Powers joins Etihad from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, where he was Professor of Finance. He brings with him significant industry experience, including senior leadership roles at major airlines. He recently was CFO of JetBlue. Powers will report directly to Etihad Aviation Group CEO, Tony Douglas. Ricky Thirion, who has been Interim Group CFO, will resume his position as Group Treasurer.
