Thai Airways International (THAI) plans to commence sales of some of its inflight cuisine at convenience stores and supermarkets across the country, local media reported, citing comments late last week from the airline's head of catering, Warangkana Luerotewong. Read More » The airline said from April 15 7-Eleven stores and several supermarkets will sell THAI's chicken biryani and a tea seed oil dressing. During the pandemic, THAI has opened a restaurant at its Bangkok offices, sold fried dough sticks at street stalls and repurposed expired safety equipment into bags while proceeding through a corporate restructuring being overseen by the country's Central Bankruptcy Court.
