Cathay Pacific Group has scheduled two flights from London Heathrow to Hong Kong to assist residents of the Special Administrative Region to return home. Read More » CX2252 is scheduled to depart from London on April 21 and April 28, Cathay said, with tickets to go on sale tomorrow, April 8. The HKSAR government said restrictions on people from the UK travelling to Hong Kong had been eased "in view of the decline of confirmed cases" in Britain. Hong Kong also has reduced the quarantine period for travellers from "low-risk places" – Australia, New Zealand and Singapore – from 21 days to 14 days. The government is considering "adjustments" to compulsory quarantine arrangements for people from non-high-risk places who have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
