Japan Airlines (JAL) has cancelled another 937 domestic flights from June 1 to June 17 as the country battles a fresh wave of COVID-19, bringing domestic flights cancelled in the month to 9,138. Read More » JAL plans to fly 64% of its normal domestic flying pattern next month, down four percentage points from the 68% operation rate outlined in JAL's previous schedule update of May 13. "The JAL Group today announced further reductions on its domestic network between June 1 and June 17 as the carrier is expecting a slight decline in travel demand in response to the number of COVID-19 cases reported in Japan," JAL said.
