Airbus chief commercial officer hints at development of A350 freighter

Airbus chief commercial officer, Christian Scherer, told reporters overnight the company was open to the development of a freighter version of its A350 wide-body. Read More » During an online briefing, Scherer said Airbus was "underserved" in the freighter market.
In other comments, he confirmed Airbus forecasts traffic to return to 2019 levels from 2023 to 2025. Slides accompanying Scherer's presentation showed the aviation industry had lost 25 years of growth from the coronavirus pandemic.
