Cebu Airport resumes operations after Korean Air runway incident

Mactan-Cebu International Airport has reopened partial operations after a Korean Air A330 overran the runway on October 23, temporarily closing the airport. Read More » As a result, airlines have been restricted to operating flights between 0500 and 1700, prompting the cancellation of scores of services. Philippine Airlines (PAL) said it is monitoring the operation of flights after sunset overnight. Cebu Pacific Air advised passengers with bookings to and from Cebu not to go to the airport unless their flights had been confirmed.
