Air New Zealand (Air NZ) will resume Auckland-Bali three times a week from next March 29 to October 29 operating the route with three-class 787-9s. Read More » The Star Alliance carrier, which commenced its New Zealand-Bali service in 2012, suspended it in early 2020 after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. “It’s awesome to be back offering nonstop services [to Bali] giving Kiwis direct access to a tropical paradise that suits every type of traveller,” Air NZ chief customer and sales officer, Leanne Geraghty, said. “Bali regularly features as one of our topmost searched destinations. Currently, it is in the top five. We are expecting interest to be hotter than the Balinese sunshine as Kiwis flock to book a winter getaway.” Air NZ said all economy fares to Bali will include a check in luggage allowance, IFE and on board meal service.
