Scoot to lease nine Embraer E190-E2s

Singapore Airlines Group LCC, Scoot, has agreed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with lessor Azorra for nine E190-E2 aircraft. Read More » Deliveries are planned from 2024 to December 2025. At present, the LCC operates A320 and 787 family aircraft. The E190-E2s, to be equipped with 112 seats in a single class configuration, will allow the airline to better match capacity with demand and serve thinner routes to non-metropolitan destinations from Singapore, Scoot said. “The new aircraft ensures Scoot is ready for growth by enhancing our connectivity in the region and supporting the development of our Singapore hub,” CEO Leslie Tang said.
