Vietjet records double digit profit increase in first quarter 2025

Vietjet booked a 641.3 billion dong (US$25 million) profit for the three months to March 31, compared with a net profit of 539.2 billion dong in the same quarter in 2024. The LCC’s latest results were driven by strong international expansion and operational excellence with passenger numbers better by 9% at 6.9 million in the three months. Vietjet is in a position to exceed its 2025 targets as a result of strong growth in global aviation markets, the LCC said.
