Air India boosts Haneda schedule, adds Gaya to domestic network

Read More » The frequency increase was announced six weeks after the Star Alliance member switched Delhi-Tokyo from Narita to close-in Haneda. The route is served with 787-8s. “Expanding Delhi-Tokyo Haneda to daily reflects Air India’s commitment to meeting rising demand for travel between India and Japan,” Air India chief commercial officer, Nipun Aggarwal, said. “This daily service, combined with our deepened codeshare partnership with All Nippon Airways, makes it easier for our guests to explore Japan and connect conveniently to other destinations in the country beyond Tokyo.” Air India, All Nippon Airways and Japan Airlines fly nonstop Delhi-Tokyo with all flights operating out of Haneda.
In other Air India news, the airline will inaugurate nonstop daily Delhi-Gaya on September 1.
