SIA Group reports strong air travel demand for June

Singapore Airlines Group (SIA) flew 3.5 million passengers last month, 8.2% better than the 3.2 million air travellers it transported in the same 30 days in 2024. Read More » Singapore Airlines passenger numbers increased 5.7%, to 2.3 million, and LCC Scoot recorded a 13.2% improvement in customers flown, to 1.2 million. "In June 2025, demand for air travel remained strong across all route regions, supported by the start of the summer travel season and mid-year school holidays in Singapore," SIA said in a regulatory filing. The SIA Group passenger load factor for the 30 days was 88.7% and capacity, or available seat kilometres, expanded 3.1%. The company will publish its latest quarterly financial statement on July 28.
