Philippine Airlines increases flights to Siargao as peak holiday season approaches

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is expanding schedules to the popular island of Siargao from Cebu and Clark. Read More » PAL also reaffirmed its commitment to nonstop Manila-Siargao giving international visitors convenient access to the island. All three routes are flown with Dash-8 Q400 turboprops operated by PAL Express. "Granting Siargao alternative air connections via Clark and Cebu addresses demand for air access and encourages local tourism and economic activity," PAL express president, Rabbi Ang, said. "We are happy to play a leading role in the steady development of Siargao. Visitors and residents will prosper from the expanded air transport opportunities." Cebgo, the regional unit of Cebu Pacific, and Sunlight Air fly nonstop to Siargao from Cebu and Clark. PAL is the only operator of Manila-Siargao.
