Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to attract more visitors to the city. The partners also plan to launch a product next year for air travellers transiting through Hong Kong International Airport.

In other Cathay Group news, Cathay Cargo has started transporting imported perishables such as fruit and seafood in an air-land fresh lane initiative across the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It includes a temperature-controlled inspection facility at Zhuhai Port. "We can see high quality perishables finding a new and exciting market with this new process thanks to our partners at the Airport Authority Hong Kong. It strengthens Hong Kong International Airport’s status as the world’s busiest air cargo hub," Cathay Cargo general manager for cargo commercial, James Evans, said.

Aircraft engineering and maintenance provider, HAECO, has celebrated its 500th aircraft check – on an All Nippon Airways aircraft t – at its Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport MRO shop.

Korean Air (KAL) has added an airport guide of its Seoul Incheon hub to its mobile app. It offers live updates on congestion at check-in counters, security and immigration checkpoints, parking availability, walking times to boarding gates and capacity at the airline’s lounges.

In other KAL news, the airline said its website and mobile apps had received accessibility certification from local authorities.
