Greater Bay Airlines headed to the Maldives for Lunar New Year

Hong Kong-headquartered Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) has launched a new seasonal route to Male in the Maldives to bring in the Year of the Horse. Read More » The airline has scheduled daily flights between Hong Kong and Male from February 8 to February 25 next year with 737-800 aircraft. "Many people from Hong Kong choose to escape the winter chill by vacationing in the Maldives during the Lunar New Year, indulging in a variety of water activities and enjoying a warm and festive experience," GBA said. GBA will join Hong Kong Airlines as offering seasonal flights on the Hong Kong-Male route. It is GBA’s third seasonal route during the holiday peak, alongside the previously announced flights to Da Nang (December 17 2025 to January 3 2026) and Fukuoka (December 18 2025 to January 4 2026).
