Airbus reports 46% lift in net profit

Airbus has reported net profit of 2.6 billion euros (US$3.1 billion) for the nine months to September 30 2025, a near 50% improvement from net profit of 1.8 billion euros in the same period in 2024. Read More » Revenue rose 7% to 47.4 billion euros, Airbus said in a regulatory filing. "Our nine-month results reflect the level of commercial aircraft deliveries and a solid performance in the Defence and Space and Helicopters businesses," Airbus CEO, Guillaume Faury, said. "Deliveries remain backloaded amid a complex and dynamic operating environment. Meanwhile, we continue to expand our industrial capacity to support the commercial aircraft ramp-up." The company has reaffirmed its expectations of delivering 820 commercial aircraft this year. At the end of September, Airbus had delivered 507 commercial aircraft to 79 customers.
