Read More » Under the changes, which come into effect on January 1 2026, silver, gold and platinum members will earn more points for every ringgit spent on their fares. The earning chart for "Elite Points", which determines a member’s status in the program, has also been updated, with members to earn more on flights, depending on the distance and cabin flown. However, the number of Elite Points required to qualify and maintain status has increased to 35 points for silver (from 30), to 70 points for gold (from 60) and to 140 points for platinum (from 100). "The refreshed structure delivers greater value through enhanced Enrich Points earning, enabling bigger and faster rewards," MAG CEO of loyalty and travel services, Philip See, said.
