ANA HOLDINGS lifts profit forecasts after boost from Nippon Cargo Airlines acquisition

ANA HOLDINGS INC. has reported net profit of 76 billion yen for the six months to September 30 2025, down 5.8% from net profit of 80.7 billion yen in the prior corresponding half. Read More » Operating revenue rose 8.3%, to 1.2 trillion yen, ANA said in a regulatory filing. The parent company of All Nippon Airways and LCC Peach attributed the lift in revenue to strong inbound and outbound demand in international passenger service and the addition of Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) to the ANA Group. "By steadily capturing strong passenger demand, sales revenue reached a record high for the first half," ANA Group chief financial officer, Kimihiro Nakahori, said. "Profit levels also exceeded our initial plan, due in part to the consolidation of Nippon Cargo Airlines." The airline group lifted its forecast for net profit for the full financial year, which ends in March next year, by 18.9% to 145 billion yen, from the previous estimate of 122 billion yen. Its guidance for operating revenue was raised to 2.5 trillion yen, from 2.4 trillion yen.
