Air India and Air Canada to codeshare

Air India has reinstated its codeshare agreement with Air Canada covering flights between India and Canada via Europe. Read More » Under the agreement, Air India will add its AI airline code on Air Canada-operated flights from Vancouver to Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montréal and Winnipeg, as well as from London Heathrow to Calgary and Vancouver. Similarly, Air Canada will add its AC airline code on Air India-operated flights from Delhi to Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Kochi and Mumbai, as well as from London Heathrow to Delhi and Mumbai. "More than two million people travel between India and Canada every year, as families reunite, students pursue their dreams, and businesses build for tomorrow," Air India CEO, Campbell Wilson, said. "The reinstatement of our partnership with Air Canada eases journeys for thousands of them every day moving forward. As a proud Star Alliance member airline, Air India remains committed to the alliance’s purpose of delivering seamless journeys across the globe." The codeshares take effect from December 2.
