Air NZ to end share buybacks this week

Read More » The current program, which commenced in March this year, allowed for the repurchase of NZ$100 million of its own shares over a 12-month period. It has so far bought back about 133 million shares for NZ$80 million (US$45 million). "As the airline expects to be within the liquidity target range set out in its capital management framework by the end of the 2026 financial year, no further purchases will be made under the current programme after close of trading on Tuesday 25 November 2025," Air NZ said in a regulatory filing. "The company will continue to manage capital in line with its capital management framework and preserve flexibility for future opportunities."
