Singapore Airlines group posts new monthly passenger records in December

Singapore Airlines Group (SIA) flew 3.8 million passengers in December, up 4.8% from 3.6 million passengers it transported in the same month a year ago. Read More » It was the airline group’s highest monthly passenger total, beating the previous 3.6 million achieved in December 2024. The December total lifted total passengers carried by Singapore Airlines and Scoot to 41.6 million in calendar 2025, which was also a record high and 6.6% above the previous record 39 million set achieved in 2024. SIA said the growth in December was underpinned by year-end demand for air travel. The airline group’s cargo unit reported volumes 4.5% higher in December amid what is said was "traditional year-end demand".
