Safran has signed a definitive agreement to sell its 50% stake in cabin interiors business, EZAir, to the other 50% shareholder, Embraer. The pair has also agreed a deal for Safran to sell some associated aftermarket activities and related engineering and manufacturing support provided by Safran Cabin Brazil to Embraer. "The activities of Safran Cabin Brazil related to Embraer scopes will become part of Embraer," Safran said in a regulatory filing. "The non-Embraer related engineering services activities of Safran Cabin Brazil will remain with Safran." The EZAir facility, located in Mexico, will be wholly-owned by Embraer.
