Qantas’s Fokker 100 replacement to arrive by end of the year

Qantas Group will take delivery of three "mid-life" Embraer E190 aircraft by the end of the year as part of its replacement program for the Fokker 100 fleet flown by its Network Aviation subsidiary in Western Australia. Read More » The airline group last year confirmed it planned to acquire up to 14 E190s to replace the Network Aviation Fokker 100s. In other Qantas Group news, the company is installing internet connectivity via wifi on board the A320 and A319 aircraft flown by its regional wing QantasLink. The A320s are also getting new seats with USB charging ports and holders for passengers’ personal electronic devices. The refurbishments are expected to be completed by the end of 2027. "This multi-million-dollar investment reinforces our long-term commitment to serving the critical resources sector in Western Australia and connecting regional communities across the state," QantasLink CEO, Mark Dal Pra, said. "Not only will it significantly enhance the travel experience for our customers, it will also help us improve reliability and efficiency across our WA network."
