Vietjet to open new Japan-Vietnam route

Vietjet will start nonstop flights from Hanoi to Shizuoka, located about 80km from Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji next month. Read More » The LCC has scheduled three flights a week on the route, with the first flight due to take off on April 28. The flights will operate as an overnight service from Hanoi and a morning departure from Shizuoka. It will be Vietjet’s 11th nonstop route between Vietnam and Japan. "The new route contributes to strengthening connectivity between Vietnam and Shizuoka, Japan," Vietjet said. Currently, there are no nonstop flights to Shizuoka from Vietnam.
