Vietjet boosts Southeast Asia network with new Jakarta, Singapore services

Vietjet will start a new five times weekly nonstop service between Da Nang and Jakarta from April 29. Read More » A little over a month later, on June 1, the LCC is launching nonstop Nha Trang-Singapore flights four times a week. "The new routes will help strengthen tourism and trade connectivity between two of Vietnam’s most attractive coastal cities and Singapore and Indonesia - dynamic economic and tourism hubs of the region," Vietjet said. "With the addition of the Da Nang-Jakarta service, Vietjet now operates five routes linking Vietnam and Indonesia, alongside its current connections linking Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi with Bali and Jakarta." Vietjet serves Singapore from Da Nang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc. Currently, Garuda Indonesia subsidiary, Citilink, operates seasonal charter services on the Da Nang-Jakarta route, while Singapore Airlines Group LCC, Scoot, and Vietnam Airlines offer year-round scheduled flights between Nha Trang and Singapore.
