Dubai government restricts foreign carriers to one flight a day: Report

Foreign airlines flying to Dubai will be restricted to one flight into and out of Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport until May 31, the Reuters news agency reported, citing a letter from Dubai Airports to airlines serving the city. Read More » Both Dubai airports have been operating under restricted conditions since the start of the Israeli and U.S.-led war against Iran last month. While flights into and out of Dubai have recommenced since an initial shutdown of the local airspace, capacity remains below normal operations. The one flight a day condition was expected to impact India flag carriers hardest, given their extensive operations into the United Arab Emirates and the large number of passengers travelling between the two countries.
