Japan Airlines unveils Disney-themed livery on domestic 737-800

Japan Airlines (JAL) is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Tokyo DisneySea theme park with a special livery on one of its domestic-based 737-800s. Read More » The aircraft, registration JA339J, has been dubbed the "JAL Jubilee Express" and features Disney characters and the words "Sparkling Jubilee" on a blue background. Inside the cabin, passengers will be greeted with Disney-themed headrest covers, served drinks in cups featuring Disney characters and gifted a commemorative sticker. The "JAL Jubilee Express" was scheduled to start flying from June 4 and remain in the special livery until April next year. "The two companies first collaborated on a special aircraft livery in 2001, the year Tokyo DisneySea opened, and this aircraft marks the seventh partnership to date," the oneworld alliance member said. JAL has been an official sponsor of Tokyo Disneyland since the theme park opened in 1983.
