The Boeing narrowbody, registration JA738A, landed at Tokyo Haneda just after 1440 local time on Monday, having been ferried from Boeing Field in Seattle via Kona in Hawaii and Guam over the previous five days. The aircraft received a water cannon salute upon its arrival at Haneda. "JA738A is scheduled to enter service as soon as preparations are complete," Skymark said. The Japanese carrier, which currently flies an all-Boeing fleet of 29 737-800s, has ordered a mix of 737 MAX 8s and 737 MAX 10s to renew its fleet.
