Starlux to add two European, two Oceania destinations next year

Taiwan-headquartered Starlux Airlines is planning to expand its international network in 2027 to include Barcelona and Zurich in Europe and Auckland and Sydney in Oceania. Read More » The new services were announced during the company’s annual shareholder meeting by Starlux Airlines chair, Chang Kuo-wei, local media reported. No start dates were provided. Currently, China Airlines (CAL) flies from Taipei Taoyuan nonstop to Auckland and Sydney. Air New Zealand and CAL offer nonstop service between Auckland and Taipei. Chang indicated Starlux planned to serve Auckland as part of a Taoyuan-Sydney-Auckland routing. There are no airlines flying nonstop from Taiwan to Barcelona and Zurich.
