Airbus, Safran, Technip Energies and Tereos have announced plans to establish a joint-venture sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility in Northern France with capacity to produce about 160,000 tons of SAF per year.
All Nippon Airways has built 30 stools made from upcycled cabin windows from its 787 fleet and wood from old houses in Kyushu. The stools are available for sale through the airline’s shopping portal at 132,000 yen (US$823) per stool.
Collins Aerospace is building a new maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility at Subang Aerospace Park in Kuala Lumpur, which will increase the company’s footprint at the site to about 15,240 square metres, from about 4,270 square metres currently. "The transition to the new facility in Subang Aerotech Park is planned to be complete by the end of this year, enabling support for the region’s growing fleet, which is expected to double MRO demand in the next two decades," Collins Aerospace said.
