Philippine Airlines reported considering placing an order for 20 widebody jets

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is considering ordering as many as 20 widebody jets, Bloomberg News reported. Read More » The carrier might choose the Boeing 787, A330neo, or A350 models, though no decision has been made on which jets to order; insiders told Bloomberg, adding that PAL will not order the Boeing 777X, as it is too large for operations at Manila’s airport. The new widebody jets will replace PAL’s older Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 aircraft.
