AirBorneo to commence jet operations on Kuala Lumpur and Singapore routes: Report

Read More » The airline, based in Sarawak in East Malaysia and formerly known as MASwings, has an all-turboprop fleet of ATR and Viking Air aircraft on regional routes in Sarawak and Sabah. The routes were expected to start in late July with three 737-800s acquired via a wet lease arrangement, local media reported, citing comments from AirBorneo CEO, Megat Ardian Wira Mohd Aminuddin. The airline planned to have three domestic and three international destinations by the end of calendar 2026. AirBorneo recently received slot allocations at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport for the upcoming northern hemisphere winter scheduling season, which runs from the end of October to late March 2027.
