Adelaide Airport has selected Amadeus to supply 80 self-service checkin kiosks and 50 bag drop units, as well as upgrades of its passenger processing systems and new communications tools for airlines and baggage systems.
ANA HOLDINGS INC. has announced an investment by its corporate venture capital fund in Japan-headquartered optical quantum computers developer, OptQC Corp.
Nanyang Technological University in Singapore has completed a one-month flight test campaign of its electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft prototypes at the DLR National Experimental Test Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems in Germany. The aircraft has been designed, engineered and built in Singapore.
Airport services provider, SATS, has reported net profit of S$75.1 million for the three months to June 30 2026, up 6% from net profit of S$70.9 million in the same three months in 2025. Revenue rose 11.3% to S$1.7 billion, SATS said in a regulatory filing. "SATS’ first quarter revenue performance increased despite ongoing geopolitical developments, reflecting the resilience of our diversified global network and business portfolio amid an uncertain operating environment," SATS CEO, Kerry Mok, said. "While geopolitical uncertainties and rising cost pressures persist, a strong pipeline of opportunities and continued investments in strategic capabilities position us well to deliver long-term value for shareholders."
