Fiji Airways is adding more flights to Asia-Pacific destinations in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Samoa and Singapore from its Nadi hub next year, representing 125,000 more seats across its international network. Read More » Highlights of the schedule expansion include lifting its Christchurch and Hong Kong route to five flights a week, from three currently, adding a third weekly rotation to Singapore and Tokyo Narita, and the previously announced start of nonstop flights to Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport from March next year. Fiji Airways said the schedule increases were being introduced with its existing fleet of aircraft. "We’re seeing strong demand from travellers choosing Fiji, and these additional services will provide greater choice and flexibility while making it easier for passengers to connect through Nadi to destinations across our wider network," Fiji Airways CEO, Paul Scurrah, said. "This growth strengthens the connections between Fiji and our key international markets, supporting tourism, businesses, communities, and the many Fijians whose livelihoods depend on a strong visitor economy."
