HK Express will boost its Mainland China in December when it starts nonstop flights to Hefei from its Hong Kong hub. Read More » The Cathay Group LCC has scheduled four flights a week to Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province in East China. The flights, which start on December 3 have been timed as a morning departure from Hong Kong and a lunchtime departure from Hefei. "In just two and a half hours, travellers can immerse themselves in Hefei’s thousand-year heritage, picturesque water towns, and world-class Jianghuai gastronomy," HK Express said. "With a story waiting to be discovered around every corner, Hefei is the perfect destination for your next unforgettable getaway." The LCC currently serves six destinations in Mainland China - Beijing Daxing, Changzhou, Ningbo, Sanya, Wuxi and Yiwu. It will be the second airline to fly nonstop between Hong Kong and Hefei alongside China Eastern Airlines.
