Air China grows passenger numbers above 13 million in December

Air China flew 13 million passengers on its domestic, international and regional networks in December, up by 8.7% from the 12 million travellers it carried in the same month in 2024. Read More » In the reported 31 days, domestic passenger numbers flown were higher by 9%, at 11 million and international passengers advanced 8.2%, to 1.6. The Star Alliance member’s regional network posted the slowest growth, at 4.1%, to 426,500 passengers. Capacity expanded 4% compared with 12 months ago and passenger load factor rose 4.5 percentage points to 82.2%. Air China’s fleet stood at 964 aircraft on the last day of 2025, an increase of eight from the end of November.
