Cambodia Airways has officially taken delivery of its first ATR 72-600 turboprop. Read More » The aircraft, registration XU-369, took off from ATR’s Toulouse facility on its delivery flight on Monday and was due to arrive in Phnom Penh later today (June 10), following stops in Cairo, Muscat and Kolkata. Cambodia Airways has two ATR turboprops on order, with the second to arrive before the end of the year. Both aircraft were ordered through lessor Avation, ATR said. "The new aircraft will strengthen the airline’s network across Southeast Asia, their bigger jets being mainly used to serve China and other longer routes across the region," ATR said. The rest of the Cambodia Airways fleet comprises two A319 and two A320 narrowbodies, fleet tracking websites showed.
