Air Premia to interline with Southwest Airlines

Air Premia has established an interline agreement with U.S.-based Southwest Airlines to support its flights between the U.S. and South Korea. Read More » Currently, Air Premia flies to Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, which are also served by Southwest. The South Korea-based airline also flies to New York Newark and Washington Dulles. An interline agreement allows both carriers to sell tickets on each other’s services, with passengers able to have checkin baggage tagged through to their final destination and receive boarding passes for all flights at the start of their journey. "We are delighted to partner with Southwest Airlines, one of the largest domestic carriers in the United States," Air Premia CEO, Yoo Myung-sub, said. "This partnership significantly expands travel opportunities for our customers, providing seamless access to a network of more than 120 destinations. We look forward to expanding this partnership and delivering even greater convenience and value to travellers across the Pacific." Southwest chief operating officer, Andrew Watterson, said: "Air Premia becomes our latest partner in a portfolio that not only provides more potential global travel options for Southwest Customers, it also exposes more marketplaces overseas to our unmatched network in the United States and our world-famous hospitality."
